THE QUESTIONS THAT MATTER

Start with the decision, not the product.

An account type and an investment product are different decisions. Tax treatment, contribution rules, time horizon and risk should be understood before selecting a product.

Discuss your priorities

OUR APPROACH

A clearer conversation, step by step.

01

Start with the purpose of the money

Discuss when you may need access and which goals the savings support. Registered accounts have rules that should be checked against your own CRA records.

02

Understand the insurance contract

Segregated funds are insurance contracts with investment exposure. Any maturity or death-benefit guarantees have conditions; costs, withdrawal effects and market risks need careful explanation.

03

Confirm authorized advice

Confirm the professional’s licence, the insurer, the contract and the jurisdiction before proceeding. This site does not represent a securities dealership or discretionary investment management.

THE FIRST CONVERSATION

Your priorities come first.

During a Financial Analysis - Complementary Session, discuss your goals, the decisions in front of you and the questions you want answered. Confirm the meeting’s duration in Calendly before booking.

The conversation helps identify next steps, the professional scope required and any specialist advice to coordinate. Confirm fees and product terms before proceeding; a booking does not commit you to a product.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What you may want to know.

Are RRSPs and TFSAs investments?

They are registered account arrangements. Eligible investments and tax treatment depend on the account and product; choosing an account does not determine a return.

Are segregated funds the same as mutual funds?

No. A segregated fund is an insurance contract with its own fees, terms and benefit conditions. Read the contract and information folder.

Can I lose money?

Market-linked values can decline. Contract benefits may apply only under specific conditions and do not mean every withdrawal or return is guaranteed.

THE NEXT STEP

Let's talk about your financial goals.

Discuss your family, business and future priorities. Check the available meeting duration in Calendly before booking.
